Which Constitutional Rights Are The Media Going To Demand Congress To Regulate, Restrict and Suspend Next, Their First Perhaps?

 Jeffrey Ray Hardin

Its unconstitutional to regulate or restrict gun ownership…Period…

Gun laws are illegal, they are Unconstitutional and The Post and Courier of Charleston SC and other media outlets are advocating that Congress or the President suspend are Constitutional right and or make owning a gun very expensive, as so many other country’s are practicing today to restrict gun ownership……

What other Constitutional right requires background checks, what other constitutional right is lost or suspended if you commit a crime, what other constitutional right is restricted and regulated…What other constitutional right has laws written specifically to suspend them…

NONE!!!!

NOT A DAMN ONE…….SO WHY IS MY 2cd Amendment Constitutional Right Being Attacked, Regulated, Suspended, Restricted….

2cd Amendment II

How about letting Congress, the President and Senate start Suspending our 8th Amendment Constitutional Rights, to regulate them, suspend them, restrict them, write laws to say who it does and does not apply to, how would you nit wits live without the 8th protecting you…

You’re allowing it to happen to the 2cd aren’t you, and dare not you compare them either….

Congress cannot write laws that suspend a Constitutional right and here you twits are advocating they do…

26447b0c06cb28b3cdf41fc064744945_1M

My local Newspaper The Post and Courier as well as other Media outlets are screaming for more gun laws and regulations….

How about if Congress wrote laws to restrict their 1st Amendment Constitutional Rights. To regulate, to suspend their rights to write and say as they wish..Lets say they make laws that tell the media what they can and cannot write and publish….

They’re advocating that congress write laws to suspend, restrict and regulate my 2cd amendment Constitutional rights is as Unconstitutional as Congress stripping your paper of their 1st amendment rights…

They are a bunch of cowardly Politically Correct fools….Once the second goes, so will our first, third, fourth, fifth, six and eighth amendments and on and on until we have no freedoms left..

Its exactly what these people are doing by screaming that the 2cd amendment be suspended….They’re surrendering their very own freedoms by advocating mine be taken away, don’t they see that?!

1stamendment

It’s bad enough when the peoples government, on any level, blatantly disregards our freedoms, our rights. Its made worse when Americans themselves are demanding others surrender their Constitutional rights while screaming we respect and honor theirs….

Sooner or later, they’ll find themselves standing alone with no one to fight for them, because they helped to silence the Brave…

The Constitution was written to protect our Natural rights.
The Constitution doesn’t grant us our rights, it recognizes them…..

80,000,000 American gun owners and we are allowing our Gun rights being taken away from us like candy from children……..

Our forefathers would mock and toy with us like the children we are today due to the pusillanimous conduct of our males cowering before this corrupt government….

Sickening, 80,000,000 strong and we do nothing.

If they are going demand restrictions, regulations and suspensions of our constitutional rights, then advocate that the President, Congress and the Senate do so Constitutionally…

They do that through Article Five of the Constitution, they ratify constitutional law and make amendments, -NOT- by illegally written Federal and State laws that restrict, regulate and suspend a Constitutional Right…

Now there is the right way to go about this and ONE I would honor….

If you do not understand the consequences of the demands you are making against the 2cd amendment then I pity you…Because you are essentially surrendering your Constitutional rights out of fear and misinformation…

How about if congress take your fist amendment right, OH, how about your eighth, or perhaps all of your rights…

I know, how about we give harsher longer deadlier sentences to criminals who use a gun in the commission of a crime…

Why are these anti-gun crusaders not advocating against the criminals who commit these horrible gun crimes, but are instead rallying against law abiding Constitutionally protected American Citizens…These bleeding heart crusaders feign sympathy towards the gun victims and then turn right around and demand lighter sentencing for criminals who use guns in the commissions of their crimes…Its nothing more than a show for them to rid us of our defenses.

We gun owners are 80,000,000 strong, why are we not rising up and using our numbers to defend our Constitutional Rights….

The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Firstly….Any regulations and restrictions to our owning firearms are absolutely UNCONSTITUTIONAL…They are Illegal.

Either our Second Amendment gives us a right to bear arms that shall not be infringed upon, or it does not, One Or.

The 2cd Amendment states: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Secondly….The 2cd amendment is the only Constitutional Law being regulated and gun ownership restricted by laws meant to disarming us, the 2cd amendment is the only Constitutional Law that is being regulated, and it is illegal to infringe upon anyone’s right to own and carry their firearms in the manner they choose.

NOTE: The 1790 Naturalization Immigration Act as an argument against our Government making laws that attempt to change the meaning of Constitutional Laws….

23 of our original founding Fathers attempted to make a Temporary clarification by the Congress of natural born citizen changing the meaning of Article II clause I section V of the Constitution by wrongfully installing a Congressional Law to redefine a Constitutional Law.

In 1795 it was repealed because those 23 Founding Fathers realized it was UNCONSTITUTIONAL… Neither the President of the United States nor Congress or the Senate cannot change the wording nor meanings of a Constitutional Law without first Ratifying or making amendments to those constitutional laws and the articles within them.

Our Founding Fathers failed and later realized that they did not follow their own Constitutional Laws and the 1790 Act was repealed 5 years later by the 1795 act….The 2cd amendment is the only Constitutional Law today that if you commit a crime, you can loose your Constitutional Rights…

The President, Congress and the Senate are using the National Firearms Act of 1934 to strip us of our 2cd amendment rights, they are making what should be misdemeanor crimes into felonies today to widen those restrictions.

In 1968, the U.S. Congress passed the Gun Control Act, and it was signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson. One of the primary purposes of the legislation was to further regulate interstate transfers of firearms. However, the law also reinforced existing federal law that made it illegal for a felon to own a gun. Although Congress had already passed the National Firearms Act of 1934, which made it illegal for felons convicted of a violent crime to own a gun, the Gun Control Act expanded the prohibition to include all felony crimes.

An ACT, LAW, STATUTE, nor a DECREE cannot suspend our 2cd amendment constitutional rights to bear arms.

How exactly is that being allowed Constitutionally by those sworn to uphold our Constitution?

Thirdly…If the congress, senate, and or President want to regulate gun ownership and or restrict gun ownership, then they must first, either ratify or make amendments to the 2cd amendment, they cannot legally make laws or statutes or decrees that restrict the 2cd amendment, its unlawful for them to do that…

As was the case with the 1790 Immigration and Naturalization Act, any law made that regulates and or restricts our Constitutional rights must be repealed.

Any elected official who takes an oath of office to the United States swears to uphold, defend and protect the Constitution of the United States of America at all cost to their life and safety,

if they betrayed that oath, they should be recalled immediately from office….Any and all attempts to change a Constitutional Law with a State or Federal law is 100% illegal and an attack and betrayal against our Constitutional Republic, and those who sign these laws should be arrested and or recalled from their elected offices.

Background checks, laws or statutes forbidding the sale of firearms to felons are unconstitutional….The only way Congress and the Senate can make those types of restrictions and changes to the Constitution are to make amendments, not laws.

These elected officials are betraying our Constitutional 2cd Amendment right to bear and to own the firearms of our choice, they, nor the Congress, Senate and the President have a right to tell us when where who or how we can carry, own, present our firearms… There are no such restrictions and or regulations written in our 2cd amendment that does….

Lastly…Anyone of our elected officials who believes that background checks, acts, regulations, restrictions made against Citizens of the United States to own firearms are going to keep them out of the hands of criminals are both fools and criminals themselves…

These laws and regulations aren’t created to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, they’re laws created to UNCONSTITUTIONALLY infringe upon the rights of Law Abiding Citizens to own firearms…

They are created to slowly disarm us..

These law makers are using unconstitutional laws to intimidate and silence us with, and we are allowing them too…

Representative Stockman is Pushing Bill to Stop Gun Registration and Confiscation
GOA issues open letter after first CT citizen has guns confiscated

“The duty of every liberty-loving Connecticut citizen is to [take] up the mantle of defending his fellow citizens and the U.S. and Connecticut Constitutions, against attack from a lawless government.” — GOA Executive Director Larry Pratt, in an Open Letter to Connecticut citizens

The first arrest has now been made under the draconian Connecticut law that was passed last year in the aftermath of the Newtown shooting.

Earlier this month, Connecticut police arrested James Toigo and confiscated his “assault rifle” after he allegedly shot a squirrel in his yard. Not only did police seize the rifle (and many magazines) from the 65-year old Toigo, they also confiscated several of his legally registered firearms.

James Toigo is not a murderer. He has committed no violent crime. He is a law-abiding citizen who has been victimized by the laws of his state.

But Mr. Toigo is not alone. As many as 300,000 law-abiding gun owners have failed to comply with Connecticut’s updated gun registration requirements. The new registry is an update of older registration requirements that were in place at the time of the tragic shooting.

The state’s largest newspaper, the Hartford Courant, has called for the arrest of the 300,000 non-complying gun owners.

“The bottom line is that the state must try to enforce the law,” the paper opined back in February. “If you want to disobey the law, you should be prepared to face the consequences.”

And at least one top aide in the Governor’s administration, Michael P. Lawler, has indicated that the state will punish those who missed the registration deadline.

Rep. Stockman introduces bill to end registration and confiscation

Our great friend in Congress, Steve Stockman, has introduced H.R. 4380, a bill that would cut off federal Justice Department funds to any state which attempts to confiscate and register firearms.

H.R. 4380 would target any state that sets up a gun registry or establishes a system to confiscate guns from law-abiding citizens. And any city, state or municipality that attempts such actions would suffer the loss of their federal Justice Department grants.

Will that be enough of a threat to make these gun-grabbing cities and states back off and respect the gun rights of their citizens? We believe so. Money is tight, and the loss of any federal funds has a dramatic impact on budgets.

Because this is a Congressional election year and because the recent special elections gave bloody noses to those who were on the side of gun control, we believe that many Congressmen who normally sit on the fence will see it makes good sense to support this very sensible and necessary legislation.

And, if we can get dozens of House members to cosponsor Stockman’s bill, it will make it much easier to add H.R. 4380 as an amendment to a must-pass government funding bill which is scheduled to be considered in September.

Gun Owners has received a lot of mail from our members who are very worried about this new trend of municipal gun confiscations. We heard you, and we worked closely with Congressman Stockman’s office to develop this solution.

Now it is up to you to help us put the pressure directly on your Representative.

ACTION: Please Take Action and urge your Representative to cosponsor H.R. 4380, a bill that would cut off federal Justice Department funds to any state which attempts to confiscate and register firearms.

GOA Slams Bloomberg and Justice Stevens for their Idiotic Ideas on the 2nd Amendment || Written by Gun Owners

Gun Owners Of America II

While gun owners dramatically winning the culture war

“The founders did not establish a right to bear arms,” GOA’s Erich Pratt was quoted as saying to Newsmax.  “They assumed it already existed [and] said that it ‘shall not be infringed.’ [But] gun-control advocates frequently want to skip over those words.”

Gun Owners of America joined a chorus of pro-gun organizations in slamming idiotic comments made recently by former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens.

In a newly released book, Justice Stevens said the Second Amendment should be altered to say that people only have the right to bear arms “when serving in the militia.”

GOA blasted the comments, adding that gun owners would welcome the opportunity to demolish Stevens’ arguments in the court of public opinion.

“Bring on the debate,” said GOA Communications Director Erich Pratt in an interview with Newsmax over the weekend.  Gun control advocates are always “pushing for draconian gun restrictions” while hiding behind words like “gun safety.”

But to a gun banner, those words are code for, “We just want the military and the police to have guns,” Pratt said.  “So let’s get them out of the closet.”

Gun owners need not worry about Stevens’ idea gaining traction.  Even an anti-gun liberal, like Professor Alan Dershowitz, opposes Stevens’ proposal.

“You don’t amend the Magna Carta,” Dershowitz said. “You don’t amend the Bill of Rights. There are certain things that you just leave pristine.”

GOA agrees.  And increasingly, so do the American people.

Polls show more Americans opposing gun control

Remember all the phony polls which were used by Obama last year in order to push gun control?

Remember the unrelenting unilateral media pressure to ban guns — pressure reflected in even the “conservative” media?

Well, who’s laughing now?

Tuesday, the liberal USA Today was forced to concede that even liberal pollsters have found a massive, cataclysmic shift by Americans in favor of the right to keep and bear arms.

We bet that USA Today trolled all of the polls for some evidence that Americans embraced gun control to the same extent as their editorial board.  What they found was a liberal Pew poll — conducted immediately after last year’s Newtown vote in April — that found that Americans were statistically evenly divided between pro-gunners and anti-gunners.  Okay, it’s a liberal poll.

But what was even more interesting is that, in 2000, the same poll, asking the same questions, had found Americans supporting gun control by a margin of 66% to 29% — a 37% gap in favor of gun control.

And Pew is not alone.

Later in 2013, Gallup found that 51% of all Americans do not support stricter gun control.  In 2000, that number was 38% — with 62% of Americans supposedly favoring more anti-gun laws.

Of course, 2000 was the year when gun owners confounded the pollsters and elected George Bush as president, over the anti-gun Democratic candidate, Al Gore.

Hence, you shouldn’t trust the polls.  But when liberal gun grabbers are forced to concede that the polls are against them, that tells you something really interesting.

So, guess what, in this Easter week, we note that even Satan quotes scripture when he has no choice.

Bloomberg gets it really, really wrong

Speaking of the forces of darkness quoting Scripture, anti-gun former Mayor Michael Bloomberg chose this Easter week to try his hand at some biblical exposition.

But before we tell you about his whopper, Bloomberg made headlines on Wednesday after announcing his “threat” to spend $50 million to change people’s hearts and minds in favor of gun control.

Never mind the fact that Bloomberg has anything but the Midas touch when it comes to pushing gun control, as he’s lost almost every battle where he’s spent his millions.

“I guess he’s free to do so; he’s got money to waste,” said GOA Executive Director Larry Pratt on MSNBC.  “But frankly, I think he’s going to find out why his side keeps losing.”

Indeed, Bloomberg lost in Nevada last year, where he tried to get a universal gun registry and universal background checks enacted.

He lost in Colorado, where he tried to rescue two state senators from being recalled because of their gun control votes.

And he lost in the U.S. Senate, where a concealed carry amendment actually garnered more Senate votes than did his proposal for expanding background checks on guns.

But it’s not just on guns where he gets it wrong.  Obviously proud of his efforts in pushing firearms restrictions, Bloomberg said this week that:

“If there is a God, when I get to heaven, I’m not stopping to be interviewed.  I’m heading right in.  I’ve earned my place in heaven.  It’s not even close.”

Wow, if he thinks he’s blessed because of his efforts to disarm the public, he should consider passages like I Samuel 13:16-22, where arms control was considered a curse; and Luke 22:36, where Jesus told His disciples to sell their cloaks and buy a sword (if they didn’t already have one).

And as for breezing right through the pearly gates, without an interview, and gaining entrance on the basis of his own very tainted efforts?  Does he really think that he can buy his way into heaven because of the millions he’s spent on “social issues”?

Most people would find that disgusting.

Sadly, it appears that Bloomberg has no idea what this Easter weekend is all about.  And so on that note, we here at Gun Owners of America hope that you and your family will have a blessed holiday.

Obama Administration Budget includes $1.1 Billion for Gun Control || by: Rob Richardson

President Barack Obama’s latest budget proposal calls for $1.1 billion to be spent on gun control, or in the words of the administration to  “protect Americans from gun violence.” While that might sound warm and fuzzy to the people who believe guns are the problem, the fact is, these proposals do nothing to stop criminals and will only stop law-abiding citizens from being able to protect themselves and their families from violence.

As part of the $1.1 Billion plan, the Obama administration earmarks $182 million to support the president’s ‘Now is the Time’ gun safety initiative.” This program, according to the Whitehouse website (link to White House), will:

  1. Ban assault and high-capacity magazines. (limiting ammunition magazines to 10 rounds)
  2. Require background checks on all private gun sales.
  3. Create a new background check system
  4. Ban so-called assault weapons.
  5. Ban certain types of ammunition that the government thinks is to powerful.

Gun Owners win key victories, including one before the Supreme Court || Written by Gun Owners

Gun Owners Of America II

GOA won a huge victory before the Supreme Court in the McCutcheon case last week — a decision which will effectively allow GOA supporters to contribute greater total dollar amounts to help pro-gun candidates get elected.

One of the arguments that Gun Owners of America made in its amicus brief was that the Court should not trust Congress to regulate elections — a point that was echoed by Chief Justice John Roberts on page 3 of the McCutcheon decision:  “And those who govern should be the last people to help decide who should govern.”

GOA is also thankful for Justice Clarence Thomas, whose opinion most closely resembled the arguments made in GOA’s brief.
