This Is My South. As Are The Awesome Generation Of Black Men & Women I Grew Up Under. God Knows We Love You.

An old friend and I were at one of our favorite fishing spots some years ago and we’re talking away the day about anything and everything under Gods green awesome and reminiscing the early days of our friendship and the expediences and silly mishaps we oftentimes found ourselves in.

Sitting there quietly for a spell concentrating on the peacefulness of it all, he slowly rose up in an inquisitive manner, and said Jeffrey, I’m not a racist, I have never hated anyone in my whole born days, and I have never said anything hateful towards anyone because of the color of their skin, but, I am quite sore with how Blacks act towards me today, and the hate filled glares I get when I have done nothing to them. And when he was done, he quietly rested back down.
I would hear later during our trip back home, that he had stopped earlier that morning before meeting up with me, that a group of young Black men confronted and wanted to fight him for no fault of his own, than that he was White, and his whiteness was offensive to them. He said they shot back and forth accusing him of things he had no part of.
And all these years later, we are seeing it on a nation wide scale.
I love the Black culture I grew up under throughout the 60s-80s…..I labored and sweat alongside them during harsh Southern summers, bled and fussed with them on many a job, played hard with them on the weekends, sang and danced with them on the rare weekends off, fished and camped oftentimes and sat a fire with them, was patiently taught many a day how to make crab and fishing pots, cast -n- seine nets whilst sitting in the shade of a massive oak tree spitting melon seeds in ever what direction we pleased to see who could spit em the farthest…. This was during a period when Daddy was stationed at Beaufort SC during the early 70s, and these folks lived just outside of the Military housing in Laurel Bay and were descendants of true African slaves. These were men and women who actually felt and had experienced the real sting of prejudices, and the hands of White men filled with hate strangling their way of life, yet these kind men and women doted over me and my Brother Timothy as if we were one of their own…
And I have worried over them when they were broken, especially so, today.
No one has a higher sense of respect and love for the generation of Black Men and Women who came from out of the dark periods of our American History when their chains of slavery and Oppression robbed them of their freedoms and joy, than I do…..
During the early years of my life I had come to love the older generation of Blacks and found their culture of music and songs and especially their stories and tall tales exciting. I enjoy them as much today as I did those many years ago whilst growing up under many of them during the 60’s 70’s and 80’s.
And you can darn well bet I often fear for the loss of the awesome culture that these men and women created from within themselves, when they especially had little to work with except for those hopes and dreams and the little joy that they found within each others suffering. They turned their suffering into songs, dance and stories of hopes and built dreams from them, it was the one thing no man under God could take from them. Butcher and cut as deep as you like into a person, you cannot remove what a man or woman has placed in their souls.
These were Men and Women who fought back their oppression with the deep seated pride, dignity and strength that are oftentimes born from out of great suffering and despair, and these folks didn’t have to demand respect from anyone, because many of us Whites gladly gave it to them freely, and we march alongside of them because their hopes and dreams carved out of their despair inspired us to be a voice for them.
We gave this generation of Blacks our respect, because they darn well deserved our respect, and sadly, they are getting older and their proud and colorful culture is dying with them.
Its dying because many of their braying ass grown children have allowed Obama and the Democrat party to pollute their minds, if not also their souls, with political correctness, and are not taking up what their Great Grandparents, Grandparents and even many of their parents have prepared to leave behind for them, this young culture of Blacks are discarding their parents dreams and hopes for them with little thought of the importance their ancestors struggles truly have had upon their lives and the differences they and Whites have made for them. They are throwing it all away and for what, but a fleeing moment of desperate attention…Which makes all their arguments upon us today, insincere and hollow, causing them to fall on deaf ears and turned backs.
Blacks today have more of an opportunity to make a great living for themselves, to do great wonders with their lives, to raise college bound children and compete in the world equally than at any other time in our History and still, they look for excuses to hate and find fault in Whites who have absolutely nothing to do with their self inflicted suffering, when especially none is there to be found.
Confused by not finding all the White hate, racism and privilege they were told was all around them, they have since created and invented a superimposed image of these hate crimes upon America. And because these white hate crimes and white supremacist attacks against them don’t exist and were discovered to be fabricated and counterfeited, many White and Black Americans are no longer listening to them and are refusing to bow to their demands, worse yet for them, is that many Black Men and Women are disgusted by them and are speaking out against them.
There is not a thread anywhere any more that I can engage that some idiot will make it about race or White supremacy, or the silly claims that Whites and Whites alone are the ills of this world and their savagery today is destroying Black lives …
These ignorant types of comments stir up my anger because they don’t know me, have no idea about the personal struggles I had growing up or the hardships I might have experienced or especially the multicultural circles of friends I have collected throughout my lifetime, they can’t possibly know these things about me because I refuse to wear them on my sleeve, these are special intimate people and moments meant only to be worn on my heart. Only those who use their friends and personal moments or tragedy’s other than intimate discussion with their circles of friends, are looking for nothing more than attention, accolades and pats on the back.
Those Whites infected with white guilt, wear Black’s on their sleeves because its fashionable, Blacks look good on them within their liberal circles, Blacks also wear nice on them during civil rights protest simply to make themselves feel useful and however superficial, it feels good to them because of the special attention they get when showing off their Black friends and adopted Black children.
Christian men and women, as do most conservatives, wear their Black friends, all their friends for that matter, on and within their hearts, because there is where they feel the best to us, and the only attention we seek out are with those we love and wish to share that love with. The only fashion statements we need to make is with how our hearts look to God.
These same people who constantly cry racism and White Privilege are the very ones who wouldn’t give me the time of day because I’m White skinned, yet have the audacity to call me a racist when they themselves are the ones creating and inciting all the racial tensions and divisions we are seeing in America today…
This young out of control culture of Blacks today will never garner the respect we Whites gave to their Grandparents and even many of their parents, nary a one of them deserve our respect or our attention when especially they immediately infuse white supremacy, white privilege, race and racism into issues and debates being discussed that have absolutely no bearing on the topic of race. They do so to shut those discussions down.
The ignorance and stupidity infecting the young Black culture created under Obama today is exactly the same “sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity that Martin Luther King seen in many Whites of his time.
What saddens me even more, are the brave Black Men and Women who are struggling and sacrificing relationships with their families to make a difference in this Nation, who do stand up and speak out as independent thinkers and are refusing to comply to the demands of the main stream political correctness, and whose very presence and characters they have built for themselves unquestionably deserve all of our respect…These brave Black Men and Women are being targeted and attacked as traitors to their race by both the Whites and Blacks on the left.
In EIGHT short years, Black leaders like Obama, Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan, Maxine Waters and Clyburn have destroyed any and all hopes of racial harmony that so many of us in this Nation, Blacks and Whites, struggled so hard to get a grasp on, and have been sickened by the willful destruction of all our sacrifices and dreams of racial harmony for our children, we had placed so much hope and prayers into our being more racially united, and many awesome Black men and women are being murdered by their very own people simply for not complying and being what the Democrats and Black militants today are claiming are “Not Black Enough”. when they are simply speaking out against the insanity they see taking control of and destroying so many impressionable young lives today within the Black communities that are desperate for father figures.
Like my dear friend Joseph, I’m not a racist, nor am I a white supremacist, but I am very angry at their young children today. I’m especially angry towards the many elected Black officials that are leading these impressionable young kids astray and using them as weapons against Americans, and they have been for some time….
I have a right to be angry, I have a right to speak out, as a part of this decaying human race and witnessing the lives of my family being affected by all of this insanity around us, I have every right to be really pissed off. Because I want and dream of better from all of us. And you silly race hustling Mothers S&B’s, I do mean all of us…
Y’all enjoy your weekend of race hustling and fake protest of injustice against us White’s and the many brave and awesome Uncle & Auntae Toms who refuse to bow or comply to your insane culture of hate and lies, because that is all any of you race hustling fools have any more on any of us, you’re an invented people, you have filled your souls with invented hate, you have clouded your minds and thinking with invented images of injustices and oppression, and your nonsensical whimpering of protest from the self inflicted wounds you are suffering are becoming nothing more than soft echoes from within those empty vessel you might call a human soul to our ears.
it’s all that any of you are ever going to leave behind in this life, simply because you are allowing the better parts of your lives to drift up and away in a blackened puff of hate filled smoke, and no one of us that will matter to you, gives a rats flying hiny shines what any of you have to say to us any more. Your little more than pesky ticks hanging on to what little meaning this world holds towards you, and we’re tired of bleeding out for you.

R.I.P Anthony Hervey…..Gods speed Arlene Barnum, Its your voices that are making a difference. God knows we love you both.
